Extend Ubuntu server disk volume after resizing VM

Check current partitions:
>sudo fdisk -l

Create new partition:
>sudo fdisk /dev/sda
- primary partition
- partition number: 3
- first and last cylinder block
- partition system ID: 8e
- write to disk.

Setup the partition:
>pvcreate /dev/sda3
>vgdisplay
>vgextend [VG Name] /dev/sda3
>pvscan
>lvdisplay
>lvextend [LV Path] /dev/sda3
>resize2fs [LV Path]

DONE
