Postgresql server start

Use the following command (from terminal) to control the PostgreSQL server
Start the service : /etc/init.d/postgresql start
Stop the service : /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
Know the status : /etc/init.d/postgresql status
Restart the service : /etc/init.d/postgresql restart
